Infragistics NetAdvantage 2004 Vol. 3 .NET Products Hot Fix Installer

WARNING: If you are testing the 20043.38 WinCalcManager and you install this hot fix you must use WinCalcManager with WinGrid 20043.38 and NOT the 20043.1049 WinGrid hot fix.

NOTE:
Be sure to run the Project Upgrade Utility after running this hot fix installer.
If you do not you may see one of the following errors:

run the project:

Parser Error Message: The base class includes the field 'UltraWebGrid1', but its type (Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraWebGrid) is not compatible with the type of control (Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraWebGrid).

If you delete and re-add the control, then you may get the following error message:

Compiler Error Message: BC30560: 'UltraWebGrid' is ambiguous in the namespace 'Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid'

The Project Upgrade Utility that was part of the 2004 Vol. 3 install will enable you to upgrade your project references with the correct hot fix versions.

Revised 07/02/04:
- Individual hot fix product readmes have been discontinued. All version information is present in this document.

Revised 01/17/04:
- MSI installer technology.
- Uninstall with dated title will appear in the Add Remove Programs list.
- Copies all hot fix files to a dated folder under Infragistics, i.e. 010904 Hot Fix.
- Option via Custom install choice panel to install WEB, WIN or both.
- Option via Custom install choice panel to remove files from GAC.
- Option via Custom install choice panel to backup files prior to installing Hot Fix.
- WEB product java scripts installed - If you have IIS the default location is “c:\inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\infragistics\productnamemajorversion”. If you do not have IIS install the default location is “c:\program files\common files\infragistics\web\productnamemajorversion”.
- WIN product updated sample .config files installed so samples run from start menu without a recompile.
